My name is Matthew Streib. I’m from Pittsburgh. I live in Seattle.

I’ve been making stained glass windows for 7 years. I make all my patterns myself, including those for commissions.

I like to play with unnerving themes in glass. As a child, I was inspired by beautiful windows depicting Christ bloody and dying on the cross. Unlike other mediums, you can’t make an ugly window – glass and light will inevitably add sparkle and charm to whatever it portrays. I like to explore depression through this charming veneer.
